You've been Talking Kingston, and we've been listening.

Over 459 community submissions were used to help shape the Draft Budget for 2024/25. Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback and suggestions for projects and initiatives to make Kingston the best place to live, work and play.

Through our Talking Kingston consultation, our community can provide input on our budget year-round and influence how we invest your rates. If you have a great idea you'd like considered for future budgets, let us know!

Draft Budget 2024/25

During the draft budget process, all community submissions were considered, along with a range of factors, including, funding our key community services, maintaining existing vital community assets and delivering any new facilities or initiatives our community needs. We're pleased to release the Draft Budget 2024/25 ahead of its adoption at the 27 May Council Meeting.

Online information session

An online information session was held on Wednesday 10 April at 6pm.

Attendees heard more about the proposed new Budget and had their questions answered. You can watch the recording.
